Important - Lismore Electoral Area Meeting

An important meeting of the Lismore Electoral Area will take place on Wednesday 25th February at 8pm, Cappoquin Community Development Centre. All community & voluntary groups in the Lismore Electoral Area are urged to attend, this is an opportunity to meet with your local Forum representatives. The Lismore Area Executives are represented on the Board of Waterford Leader Partnership, Local Area Committee’s, SPC’s, Joint Policing Committee & Deise Link Rural Transport. Representative bodies attending include, Waterford Leader Partnership, Rural Development. Items on the agenda include: Community Forum updates, BHP cheaper Insurance for groups. If your organisation is not yet registered with the County Waterford Community Forum, you can register at this meeting.

Arts Grants Scheme 2010

Applications are invited for Waterford County Council’s Arts Grants Scheme 2010.
This Scheme aims to give financial assistance to arts groups and organisations in County Waterford. Full guidelines and an application form can be downloaded from www.waterfordcoco.ie or by contacting the Arts Office on 058/41416.
The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 12 noon on Monday 1st March 2010.
