County Waterford Community & Voluntary Awards 2011
This is the 7th year of the Community and Voluntary Awards following hugely successful events over the last six years. We are delighted with the level of interest and enthusiasm in the Awards Scheme.

As in previous years we will produce a brochure sponsored by Waterford Leader Partnership to showcase the shortlisted groups, sponsors and supports.
This year we have introduced a new FACEBOOK award kindly sponsored by Printmaster.
The Awards Ceremony will take place in November in the Clonea Strand Hotel. The winners will not be announced until that night.
Each category winner will receive a cash prize of €500 and a framed certificate.
The WLRfm Overall winner will receive a further cash prize of €800, framed certificate, commemorative piece of local artwork and a live broadcast from WLRfm in 2012.

National Bike Week 18th to 26th June 2011
Bike Week 2011 takes place from 18th to 26th June. Waterford County Council and Waterford Sports Partnership in conjunction with Dungarvan Cycling Club, Comeragh Cycling Club, the Sean Kelly Tour of Waterford Committee and a number of local community groups are organising an exciting programme of events over the course of the week to cater for all the family. Whether you are a first time cyclist, returning to recreational cycling after a few years or a a regular cyclist there will be something here to suit all tastes!
1. Fenor Family Fun Cycle on Sunday 19th June
• Registration from 10:30 a.m.
• Bike obstacle courses for young children at Fenor NS
• 5k/10k/20k Family Cycles Start 12 noon from Fenor Church
• WLR FM Roadcaster 2 to 5 p.m.
• Monster BBQ, Bouncy Castles & Live Entertainment at Fenor GAA Club from 2 p.m.

• 30k route
• Suitable for 10 years +
• Followed by light complimentary breakfast in Sip n Surf Café
