Parking in Dungarvan

Dungarvan has a number of parking areas.

• On street parking
  Get a parking ticket at one of the on street parking meters @ €1.10 for one hour. The first half hour is free, but once a ticket is purchased it is valid for one hour only. Maximum parking is for one and a half hours.

• Car Parks
  Dungarvan Town Council operates two car parks, one at Scanlon's Yard and the other at the former Glanbia Site.   These car parks operate on a pay-and-display system.   The cost of parking in these car parks is €1.10 per hour or part thereof.   Scanlon's Yard car park has a special day rate of €3.30.   This ticket should be got from the parking meter on arrival.

Traffic wardens patrol Dungarvan and tickets will be given when necessary. The current fines are:

• € 40.00 - illegal parking
• € 60.00 - non-display of a current tax disc
• € 80.00 - unauthorised parking in a disabled parking space

All fines will increase by 50% if the fine is not paid within 28 days of the date of issue of the fine. If you do receive a fine, you can pay online with a credit/laser card.
