Lismore's immensely popular Town Clerk, Eric Flynn died suddenly on Sunday 23rd May 2010. Eric started work with Waterford County Council in October 1970 and worked in a number of departments before the Lismore Area Office was opened in 1982, Eric served as the Administrative Assistant to the Area Engineer.

He was liked and respected by all who dealt with him. He was imaginative and creative in working on this website and he was utterly loyal and dedicated to Lismore.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, colleagues and all the people that he met along his way. May he rest in peace.
