Gazebo and Obelisk

Gazebo
The gazebo occupies a focal point in the park and offers a wonderful view. The gazebo itself comes from a Victorian design and is indeed highly ornate with its frieze panels, spandrels and balustrade panels.

Obelisk
Because the park was intended as a commemoration of the Millennium, it was decided that an obelisk should also feature in the park.  The Obelisk itself is only ten foot tall and is surrounded by a beautiful paved area and seating.  This area is very densely planted and provides a tranquil area of its own within the park.
