Arts

The Arts Office is a vibrant part of the Cultural Service offered by Waterford County Council.

Each year the County Arts Office devises and implements specific arts projects in a range of artistic disciplines. The Arts Office also processes arts grants, bursaries and awards, plus the general services which an Arts Department offers. Public Art also comes under the remit of this section.

Since 1996 Margaret Organ has been the County Arts Officer.  Based in Dungarvan, but with a countywide remit , the Arts Officer's brief is extensive in terms of the variety of art forms to be catered for, the different interest groups concerned and the geography of the region.
