08 Mar 2011 - Documentary on Dervla Murphy, Lismore Travel Writer

The documentary on Lismore Travel Writer 'Who is Dervla Murphy?' premiered at IMMRAMA Festival, Lismore in 2010. Since then it has won the Best Feature Documentary at Waterford Film Festival 2010, screened to capacity audiences at the Corona Cork Film Festival and IFI's Ireland on Sunday series. It also had a national broadcast on TG4 in early 2011. The film screened at the Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival in November 2011 and Dervla made a personal apperance at the Festival. The film will screen at Fingal Film Festival, March 23rd 2012 / www.fingalfilmfest.net It will also screen at the Bealtaine Festival in Sligo on May 5th 2012. It will then be shown at the Underground Film Festival, Dublin in August 2012.
