'Damselfly' by Eamonn O'Doherty

Damselfly' by Eamonn O' Doherty is a bronze sculpture of a Damselfly on reeds with heavy cast coloured glass inserts in the wings standing in a still pool. The finished piece is seven metres high. Co. Wexford based O' Doherty chose the damselfly which is dependant on water for its lifecycle and is familiar and loved for its delicate and spectacular beauty.
