The Environment Education Officer is involved in a number of projects to try and make people aware of issues by offering practical advice and work with schools.

A new regional anti-waste webpage www.wastenot.ie is now in operation and will be formally launched at the Iverk Show in Piltown, Co. Kilkenny in September by Minister Gormley.
