County Waterfords Blue Flag Beach Photo Competition 2012

Waterford County Council is encouraging all residents and visitors to take part in our Blue Flag Beach Photography Competition. This photography competition is aimed at promoting County Waterford  Beaches. The theme of the
competition for this year is” Seaside Inspirations” and photos with special focus on the environmental aspect of the coast will have added value during the final selection. 

In order to qualify all pictures taken must be of any beach in county Waterford. 

The Competition is divided in two categories; namely one for adults (15 years and over) and another for children (14 years and younger). 

Photographic enthusiasts start snapping away and you have over two months to take photographs and the closing date is Monday 15th October. The best pictures will be selected and mounted for an exhibition which will be held in late October in Dungarvan and Tramore.   There will be prizes awarded for both categories.
