Ways you can help

Waterford County Council has a litter management plan that details litter prevention and control measures.
Taking action against litter is everyone's responsibility.  There's a lot you can do to help:

• Co Waterford has a number of very active and effective Tidy Towns Committees.  If your town/village does not already have a Tidy Towns Committee why not consider forming one.  Please contact the Litter Control Office for details
• Get involved in the annual National Spring Clean Campaign.  The Litter Control Office will supply you with gloves and bags for the occasion
• Invite the Anti-Litter Supervisors to give a talk to your community group about litter control
• Don't Litter and Don't Tolerate Those that Do.
