Finance Department

Finance Department is responsible for the short term and long term financing of Waterford County Council's operations.  Our role is to ensure the County Council gets the best possible value from it's resources.

Our Services

Collection of Council revenues including Commerical Rates, Property Entry Level (PEL), Water/Waste Water, Housing Rents, Housing Loans, NPPR and Household Charge.

Payments to Suppliers/Contractors along with processing of Payroll and Expenses

Management Accounting Services including the preparation of the Annual Budget

Financial Accounting Services including the preparation of the Annual Financial Statements

Internal Audit services including support of the Council's Audit Committee

Risk Management

Collection of Motor Tax
