Waterford County Council offers a number of housing loan options to qualifying applicants. Details of these loans and qualification criteria are available from the Housing Section who process loan applications (for information on applying for a local authority loan click here). All approved applicants for loans are encouraged to set up a Direct Debit instruction to their bank or arrange to have repayment deducted through An Post Household Budget Scheme. (Forms available on request.). The Finance section is responsible for the collection of housing loans from local authority borrowers.
