Who can apply?

Students eligible to apply are those who are first-time undergraduates attending a full-time course with a minimum duration of two years. Some postgraduate students can apply, but please check the guidelines.
Undergraduates must be at least 17 years of age on 1st January, 2010 and have been resident in County Waterford from 1st October 2008.
Students must have fulfilled the Leaving Certificate requirements of the chosen course. They must be a national of an EU country, have official refugee status or have been granted humanitarian leave to remain in the State.

The closing date for acceptance of Higher Education Grants application forms is 31st August 2010.
