What we do in Housing

Waterford County Council provides a range of Housing Services, mainly to people on a lower income who would not be able to provide a house solely from their own resources.
Being on the housing waiting list opens up other opportunities for people seeking housing.
Applicants must be accepted by the local authority as being in need of housing. Houses are allocated to applicants in order of priority, taking all circumstances into account. Rents are related to your ability to pay.
