Excellence Through People

Waterford County Council holds the Excellence Through People (ETP) Gold award, conferred by FÁS. ETP is Ireland’s national standard for human resource management.  

Continuous Professional Development (CPD)

In 2007 Waterford County Council received CPD accreditation from Engineers Ireland, for the standard of Professional Development Programmes for Engineers.  The Council’s mentoring programme for staff, introduced under CPD has now been expanded and rolled out to all staff.  In March, 2008 Waterford County Council won Engineer’s Ireland Company of the Year Award.
