Our Public Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 09.30am to 3.30pm
We are closed on the 1st Wednesday of every month and on Bank & Public Holidays.

Waterford County Council's Planning Department is responsible for the orderly and sustainable development of the County. It achieves this through the following functions:
- Preparation, monitoring and implementation of our development plans
- Control of development
- Enforcement of planning control
- Protection of our heritage
The principal objectives of the Section are:
- to implement the provisions of the Planning Legislation and provide appropriate
support measures in order to promote the physical, social and economical well
being of the County in the interest of the common good.
- to provide an efficient, accessible, and transparent service to all of our customers.
The Planning Department's public office is located in the Civic Offices, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford. Online planning services are also available in our Local Area Offices in Tramore & Lismore.
