Notice of Preparation of the Waterford County Draft Development Plan 2011 - 2017
Date: 22 Feb 2010Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 12 of the Planning and Development Act, 2000-2008, that Waterford County Council has prepared a Draft County Development Plan for the administrative area of County Waterford.
The Draft Plan is accompanied by an Environmental Report, prepared in accordance with the Planning & Development (Strategic Environmental Assessment) Regulations 2004 and a Habitats (Appropriate) Assessment Stage 1 report (Screening), pursuant to Article 6(3) of the Habitats Directive 92/43/EEC.
A copy of the Draft County Development Plan 2011 – 2017 and associated documents may be inspected, at the Planning Department, Civic Offices, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford; Civic Offices, Tramore, Lismore and Kilmacthomas and at all branches of the Waterford County Libraries during normal opening hours from Monday 22nd February, 2010 to Tuesday 4th May, 2010.
A copy of the Draft County Development Plan 2011 – 2017 may be purchased at the Planning Department at a cost of €50.00 per hard copy €5 per CD copy. The Draft County Development Plan may also be viewed here.
Written Submissions or Observations regarding the Draft Plan should be sent to the Development Plan Review, Planning Department, Waterford County Council, Civic Offices, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford. or can be emailed by logging on to waterfordcoco.ie and following the appropriate link before 5.00 p.m. Tuesday 4th May, 2010 and should state the name and address of the person, group or public body from whom same is received. All submissions and observations lodged within the above time period will be taken into consideration prior to the making of the County Development Plan..
A number of public information sessions to discuss the draft plan shall be held during the display period and these shall be advertised separately.
