gPlan - Geographical Planning using maps

In gPlan you can Zoom, Pan and Search. You can navigate around the county, to zoom in and out to view different scales of mapping. When you have used the Search on the gPlan page remember to scroll down the page to view the 'Results' pane.

These results will have blue links to details and documents for that application. To view these files you can download software to view them by clicking on logo   and select operating system i.e Windows XP/Vista/7 or Mac OSX and click on download.  This does not take a long time, even on older PC's.

Information on surrounding applications can be viewed by clicking on the red points marked nearby. As you move the cursor over them, you will be able to see the Application number and the applicants name.

Lists of Applications

ePlan - How to Search:
Click on the ePlan Logo on the right of this screen to open the system and where you can search by:

• Planning application number
• Applicant name
• The address of the development

You can also view lists of:

• Applications received
• Applications where the decision is due
• Applications where the decision is made

Viewing Old Planning Files

Files over five years are held in our archives. A retrieval fee of €70 applies to order files from archives, up to three archive files can be requested per individual order. Each single request is treated as a separate order.
When archived files are retrieved, they are made available for viewing by customers in our Planning Department. Searches of planning files are not conducted by the Planning Department.
