With three days of culinary delight and fun for everyone, Waterford Festival of Food is the place to be from April 17th to 19th.
Wet your taste buds with the tempting aromas of the very best of locally produced food in County Waterford. People from across the county and country came to the inaugural Waterford Festival of Food last year and helped celebrate the tantalizing local food as well as enjoying the wonderful array of music and entertainment throughout the weekend.
Last years festival highlights included cookery demonstrations from top chefs including Richard Corrigan, Paul Flynn and Eunice Power; tasting trails with meat, fish and vegetable delights; children’s entertainment, Agri Aware mobile farm, cake and cookie decorating workshops, farmers’ market extravaganza and the amazing and amusing fun pig run down Mary Street. To top off the weekend a hog roast was held in the Square in Dungarvan by Fingal Ferguson.
The Programme for the Festival of Food 2009 will be coming soon.....
