 Waterford County Council & Dungarvan Town Council are providing Waste collection for more than 50 years, and are currently recycling over 50% of all waste collected through a three bin collection system.

 Purchase of Recycling Bags

Under our new 2012 Gold Star Household Waste Collection Service introduced on the first January 2012 all customers are no longer required to purchase Waterford County Council branded recycle bags  and can now source clear bags from local stores. All bags should be made from clear plastic of approximate size 460mm x 735mm x 900mm and be fit for recycling purpose and capable of being tied. 

To date the following shops have indicated that they will be supplying non branded bags, suitable for the collection of dry recyclable materials:
