Goods Vehicles

Renewal of Motor Tax:

• RF 100B(computerised reminder issued by Vehicle Registration Unit, Shannon, Co. Clare or Renewal Form RF100A available from Motor Taxation offices, public libraries and Garda Stations.
• Appropriate Fee
• Goods Vehicles will require a current Pass Statement from Authorised Department of the Environment  Test Centre and the current Fee when taxing to obtain a Certificate of Roadworthiness(CRW) is  (€6 for vehicles less than 3500kg) and (€13 for vehicles in excess of 3500kgs Gross Vehicle Weight).

First time taxing of a Goods Vehicle by an applicant:

• Goods vehicles that have a Gross Vehicle Weight of 3500kgs or less require an RF111A – Goods Declaration Form.  It requires an applicant who is applying for a vehicle to be taxed at the Goods Rate to provide A Revenue Registration Identity Number , Commercial Insurance, be signed at a Garda Station and may require other documentation to satisfy the Motor Tax office of its use.
